Senator Wamakko pays two-day working visit to Niger Republic

The Senator representing Sokoto North Senatorial District of Sokoto State, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has paid a two-day working visit to Dosso, Dosso state in Niger Republic.
 
According to  a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Bashir Rabe Mani and issued to newsmen in Sokoto on Friday, Senator Wamakko and his entourage were received by the Governor of Dosso State, Alhaji Musa Usman, as well as the Mayor of Tahoua,Alhaji Abdulrauf Danmallam.
 
“Part of the statement reads: “Senator Wamakko attended a tree planting campaign conducted in Dosso as part of the country’s 57th Independence Anniversary.
 
The tree planting exercise which was aimed at further reducing the menace of desertification was presided over by the President of Niger Republic, Alhaji Muhammadou Isoufou, assisted by the Prime Minister, Brigi Rafini.
 
Senator Wamakko and his entourage had since returned to Sokoto State.
