Dep. Speaker Urges Kachia ,Southern Kaduna Communities to Embrace Peace
Deputy Speaker , Kaduna State House of Assembly , Honourable John Audu Kwaturu has urged the Christian and Muslim communities in Kachia and other parts of Southern Kaduna to embrace peace and tolerate one another .
According to him, it is only when there is peace that state and local governments can work to develop and better lots of the people .
In his remark earlier today at st. Johns catholic Church, Kachia during Christmas church service to commemorate the birth of the lord Jesus Christ, the Deputy Speaker,Hon. John Kwaturu encouraged the congregation to support the government in their endless efforts of its pursuits for growths and development in the state.
He also had a brief discussion with the presiding priest of the church and hinted the congregation about government’s efforts to deliver all its campaign promises soon.
While at the palace of His royal Highness the Agom of Adara to celebrate Christmas , he enjoined all irrespective of religion or tribe to support the ongoing peace initiative in Kachia and other parts of Southern Kaduna .
” The Agom appreciated our efforts and also the state government in uplifting the living standard of the citizens.” Kwaturu said .
In attendance were some district heads party Chairman Kachia local government Alh.Tijani, the IMC Hon buniyaminu umar, the security representative of the DPO Aminu umar,zonal party women leader , Mrs Rebecca and host of others.
